What payment methods do you accept ?

We accept payments from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Pay Pal, Amazon Pay, Shop Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

How can I check on my order status? 

You will receive a confirmation email after you place an order. When the order ships, we will send you another shipment notification email including tracking details.  If you do not receive this shipping confirmation within two business days, please email us at help@humanrace.com.

Can I change or cancel my order? 

If you wish to cancel your Humanrace purchase, please email us at help@humanrace.com and we will do our best to process your request although we cannot guarantee we can cancel all requests in time. We offer full refunds within 30 days of receipt if you still wish to return your product after receiving.

The product I want is out of stock, what can I do? 

We’re sorry the item you want is not in stock, we are working on getting it ready for you as soon as we can. Please subscribe to Humanrace emails to be the first to be notified when items are back in stock. 

Where can I purchase Humanrace product?

Are your products vegan?

All of our formulas are vegan, which means they do not contain animal or animal-derived ingredients.

Do your products expire?

On the bottom of your skincare bottle, locate the open jar graphic that is on your label, you will see a number proceeded by the letter ‘M.’ We recommend using the product within that number of months after opening so you enjoy it at its best.

What skin types are Humanrace products suitable for?

The current line up of Humanrace products is suitable for all skin types. We believe we are all from the same foundational levels, so we can all use the same products regardless of gender, skin type, or skin color. Please consult your dermatologist if you have any specific questions regarding your unique skin. 

Are your products safe to use while pregnant/nursing? 

We formulate to meet all mandatory guidelines to ensure our products are safe. However, we always recommend asking your primary care doctor if you have any questions regarding your health.

Do you test on animals?

No, Humanrace is cruelty-free and we are certified by Leaping Bunny.

Are Humanrace products safe?

All of our products have been tested and passed all required safety testing.

What does Humanrace formulate without?

Humanrace will never formulate with parabens, silicones, essential oils, or mineral oils. We also ensure no rocks, nuts, seeds or plastic particles are in our formulations to lower the risk of micro-tears.

Is it normal if my skin feels tingly after using the exfoliator?

It is normal to feel a slight tingle when using the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator, especially if your skin is not used to exfoliation. Of course, please use caution and if your skin becomes extremely red and irritated, discontinue use and talk with your primary care doctor or dermatologist.

Are your products gluten-free?

Our products do not contain gluten in our formulations; however, we do not manufacture in designated gluten-free facilities. Please consult your primary care doctor if you have any questions about your health.

Do you use fragrance?

Humanrace formulas are fragrance-free to limit the risk of skin irritation it can cause some skin types. 

Are your products pH balanced?

Our formulations are carefully formulated to balance your skin’s pH level to help maintain a healthy skin barrier. The pH levels in our products are:

Rice Powder Cleanser: 5.6
Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator: 3.6
Humidifying Cream: 5.4

How many times per day should I use the Humanrace routine?

To receive the maximum benefits from your Humanrace products, we recommend using each product morning and night, aside from the exfoliator, which can be integrated into your routine 2-3 days per week depending on your skin type.

Do I need to use a sunscreen while using these products?

Regardless of your skin type or color, you need to wear a sunscreen every day. We recommend applying your favorite SPF as a final step in your routine.

What are micro-tears?

Micro-tears are tiny abrasions that can occur when large and harsh particles rub against your skin. Overtime, micro-tears can weaken the skin’s barrier, which can cause skin irritation, redness, and dryness. 

Since exfoliation is so important to your skin and to the Humanrace line, we took extra steps to ensure our formula’s contained small particle sizes to prevent micro-tears.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Your entire Humanrace skincare bottle is recyclable. Our bottle, including your label, is made of the same material so no additional sorting has to happen at the facility.

Please rinse your finished products before recycling.

Our paper cartons are 100% recyclable and sourced from FSC certified forests.

How does the Humanrace refill system work?

The current Humanrace skincare lineup is made of two components: the primary bottle and the refill unit. Once you have finished the product, lift out the empty refill unit, rinse with water, then recycle. Insert your new refill unit into the base with a click. Remove the seal from your refill and start your routine again.

How do I purchase a Humanrace refill?

Our refills are available at Humanrace.com under the Shop All section.

Can I send my empty refill back to Humanrace?

We kindly ask that you rinse out your empty refill unit and recycle it responsibly at your local recycling center or curbside pick-up.

I accidentally threw away my dome for the Rice Powder Cleanser. How do I order a new one?

Will I be receiving a new pump each time I refill the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator?

The refill unit for the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator will come with a new pump each time to reduce any cross-contamination with the formula. Simply insert the entire unit into the green base and exfoliate away!

How does subscription work?

When you subscribe to the Humanrace refill system, you will first receive the individual product with the entire packaging. When your first automated subscription arrives, you will only receive the refill. By subscribing to refills, you are helping the planet in reducing the use of single-use plastics. 

We send you your refills based on our calculated usage rates.

I subscribed to the Three-Minute Facial. What will I receive?

When you first order and subscribe to the Routine Pack | Three-Minute Facial, you will receive the complete routine kit which comes with all original packaging. In 45 days, we will ship you your first subscription order.

45 Days: You will receive the Rice Powder Cleanser refill and Humidifying cream refill in 45 days based on our recommended usage rate using the routine daily. You will not receive the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator refill until your second subscription delivery, based on our calculations if used 2-3 days per week. 

90 Days: You will receive the Rice Powder Cleanser refill, Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator refill and Humidifying Cream refill. 

All subscriptions are adjustable for your unique routines needs.

I subscribed to the routine kit, but I only received 2 products for my first subscription. Why is that?

When you subscribe to the Three-Minute Facial, we will send you the products based on our calculated usage rates. 

45 Days: You will receive the Rice Powder Cleanser refill and Humidifying cream refill in 45 days based on our recommended usage rate using the routine daily. You will not receive the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator refill until your second subscription delivery, based on our calculations if used 2-3 days per week.

In 90 Days: You will receive the Rice Powder Cleanser refill, Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator refill, and Humidifying Cream. 

All subscriptions are adjustable for your unique routines needs.

Can I cancel or pause my subscription?

You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. Head over to your Manage Subscription page and select pause or cancel. You can always reactive your subscription in account settings when you are ready.

How long do I have to make modifications to my subscription before it ships?

You can make modifications to your shipment up to 1 day before your subscription is processed. Changes you can make include adjusting your address, credit card information, or the cadence of your subscription. 

Can I change the date when my subscription is meant to arrive?

The Humanrace subscription is customizable to your unique routine. You can change the date when your subscription arrives by proceeding to your Manage Subscription page. Here you can change the date of your next shipment to fit your needs.

I subscribed to the Routine Pack, but I don’t need all three formulas to arrive at the same time. Can I remove one?

You can customize your subscription based on your unique Humanrace routine. To add or remove products, proceed to the Manage Subscription page.  

Please note when you adjust your routine, your next shipment will automatically be adjusted.

When will I be charged for my subscription?

You will be billed for your subscription on the day the order replenishment is generated and processed at our warehouse.
