Humanrace™ Director of Sales


Humanrace is looking for a Director of Sales to join the growing team. This role would be focused on driving sales across wholesale and DTC channels globally. A strong candidate should have the ability to create wholesale and DTC retail strategies, build a strong relationship portfolio with key partners.


Wholesale Account Management

  • Lead, develop and execute on a national and international retail growth strategy with a balance of sales, management, operations, and analytical thinking.

  • Develop distribution, pricing, shelving, and visual merchandising strategies based on consumer research that provides insight into what drives shopper purchase behavior

  • Create CRM and sales dashboards

  • Create and have ownership of sales budget

  • Target and communicate the brand’s positioning and consumer advantages to strategic key accounts to ensure successful placement of the product line

  • Create monthly/seasonal retail promotions, sales & marketing collateral, and training programs to ensure sell-through and success in existing accounts

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies

  • Manage terms of sale and service agreements

  • Answer customers' questions about prices, availability, and product uses

  • Monitor the quality of marketing and sales information and define data improvement programs

  • Develop retail programs and customers

Vendor Management

  • Work closely with the 3PL/operational team to ensure deliveries are made timely and efficiently

  • Develop and monitor performance related to budgets, shipment targets, sales goals and operating expenses. Communicate status, progress and deficiencies on a regular basis, and adjust plans as appropriate.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and maintain sales projections by items for operational, inventory and budgeting considerations

  • Report monthly on key KPI’s related to success of the sales channels

  • Build, secure and manage strategic framework for national and international key accounts

  • Maintain a data-driven approach to track and report sales performance, and discover opportunities to maximize revenues

  • Ensure reports and other internal intelligence and insight is provided to the sales and marketing teams

  • Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing

  • Follow up with wholesale customers to make sure they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 7 + years’ experience of selling and account management experience to wholesalers, distributors, and retail accounts.

  • International experience is required

  • Experience with lifestyle and/or skincare and/ or international experience preferred but not a must

  • Experience merchandising and working with retailers

  • Have a proven ability to analyze data and think critically

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication and organization skills

  • Excellent project management, prioritization, and planning skills

  • Financial planning and maintaining merchandise budgets

  • Proven success leading, managing and motivating others; strong negotiator

  • Experience with multiple retail methodologies (wholesale, consignment, etc.).

  • Knowledge of sales planning and executing against a budget

  • ERP/CRM system, or a similar system, experience is preferred

Reports to: VP Creative, Creative Director


Humanrace is looking for a Creative Copywriter to join their team of motivated and talented individuals. This candidate will drive the day to day brand communication, bringing ideas to life, executed with excellence across a range of touch-points including print, digital, online and social content and also creative presentations. The candidate will be part of the creative team, working closely with the Design Director to ideate and deliver against creative concepts, reporting directly into the Creative Director to lead the development and consistency of the brands tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and protecting our Tone of Voice

  • Writing excellent words for customer marketing (emails, events, marketing material, blogs) and our digital channels (search engine marketing, paid and organic social, website UX)

  • Constantly bringing Fresh concepts and ideas to the table that are not just word-focused, but visually led to

  • Proofreading and having an eye on the detail with a focus on good grammar

Working as part of our creative teams and reporting directly into the Creative Director, the ideal Project Manager will strive to deliver beautifully crafted outcomes, whether they are physical, digital, or interactive. We’re looking for an energetic problem solver, organized and methodical with a genuine passion for bringing creative ideas to life, who loves working in a team and getting involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering projects combining account management, project management and production.

  • Working collaboratively with our creative and product teams to define and solve briefs through research, strategy and delivery.

  • Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with clients, collaborators and suppliers.

  • Maintaining clear communication with all team members and collaborators.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in a creative agency or part of a brand team

  • Solid experience in managing small and large scale projects from conception through to implementation.

  • Broad experience across production, from scoping to execution; keeping teams on track, on time and in budget.

  • Process-driven, organized and methodical with a high attention to detail orally, in writing and with numbers.

Reports to: Design Director


Humanrace is looking for a Junior to Mid Weight Graphic Designer to join our talented creative team. This candidate will manage the day to day development, presentation and execution of a range of creative projects across the Humanrace brand and will report directly into the Design Director, working under the guidance of the brand’s Creative Director. You’ll be bringing ideas to life, executed with excellence across a range of touch-points including print, digital, online and social content (both motion and static) and also creative presentations. The ideal candidate will offer creative solutions, ensure consistent brand identity and actively seek ways to push boundaries within a competitive industry. The ideal candidate should be a challenger, looking to create work that moves the dial and challenges the norm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on multiple quick turn projects at one time, using strong communication skills to manage expectations appropriately

  • Create visual tools to enable clear conversations on the creative process and ideation, allowing for clear and constructive feedback from the wider team

  • Collaborate effectively with other designers, agencies, product managers, marketers, and Senior Management

  • Proactively build and leverage visual frameworks based on brand guidelines

  • Proactively ideate new ideas based on customer behaviors and contemporary thinking

  • Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews and creation

  • Share a point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, After Effects, XD.

  • Experience in web design tools, ideally using Figma or equivalent

  • Experience in Video production programs such as After Effects, Cinema 4D

  • Experience in animation and video editing tools
